Bio:Jesus Correa has many years of experience teaching Computer Science courses. His education career began at De Anza Community College before he transferred to San Francisco State University, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Throughout his time at San Francisco State, Correa was a student mentor for those transitioning into the Computer Science program. The school received positive feedback about his mentoring skills, and he was offered to teach courses for San Francisco State. Correa enjoys competing in video games, golfing, and spending time with those who are closest to him.
Why do you teach Career and Technical Education?I love the hands-on aspect. I always hear students asking "Why don’t teachers teach something useful?" At SVCTE, it is not just theory based learning, but students gain valuable hands-on experience and skills that directly apply to the industry. |
